Taking a tired and dated grand terrace conversion Stringer Interiors has brought this spectacular high ceilinged first floor flat into the 2020s.
By moving and opening up walls, reconfiguring the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and mezzanine floor we have created an open plan home with subtly defined environments and a greater sense of space.
We especially love our (not for the faint hearted) bespoke ladder attached to the wall and our handmade banquette seating around the dining table which stores files, sheets and towels.
Every opportunity has been taken to create cunning storage solutions – the bespoke bed in the main bedroom lifts to swallow up unseasonal clothes and shoes, the extra tall cupboards have double height, pull- down rails and next to the mezzanine floor there is access to a massive attic, ideal for suitcases and general clutter.
